Instead of scanning packages,relying on incomplete product listing services, or usingcrowd-sourced or out of date information, MGFM allows you to simplytype in the name of any questionable food ingredient that maycontain gluten or other food allergens. As you type, a list appearsalerting you of any conflicting gluten ingredients or allergens foryou or your family.My Gluten Free Me allows you to easily search in one of thefollowing three formats:Ingredient Search – As you enter the name of an ingredient, alist will appear showing you if there is gluten or any otherconflicting allergen matching that ingredient name. As you entermore letters, the list will be narrowed down to match the specificletters in the search box. If you see a match, you can tap on theingredient containing gluten or the allergen name in the list tosee which members cannot have that specific ingredient. A symbolshowing what category that ingredient conflicts with willappear.Family Search – As you enter the name of an ingredient, a listof every member of the family that has gluten intolerance orallergens that match the letters you have typed will appear. Theletters that match the characters you have typed will behighlighted in bold. As you type more letters, the number of itemscontaining gluten or other allergens will be narrowed down to helpyou find exactly what you are looking for.Alphabetical Search – While in the set-up screen, you can tap onthe number listed to the right of anindividual’s name to see an alphabetical list of all the itemscontaining gluten and other allergens thatyou have selected.My Gluten Free Me is great for parents, spouses, grandparents,caregivers, or anyone who buys orprepares food for those who have a gluten intolerance or foodallergy. Not only does MGFM give you immediate information on thefood you are considering, but it works as a teaching tool to trainyou and others about specific ingredients. If you are new to livinggluten free or have multiple allergies, this app is a must!One of the unique aspects of MGFM is the ability to sync yourfamily’s database across multiple platforms including Android,iPhone, iPod, iPad, and others.
